Let’s look at him through the lens of mythology, stepping outside the Western mindset for a moment and into the vast, ancient wisdom of Hinduism to meet Shiva—the great destroyer, the lord of transformation. Shiva’s destruction isn’t mindless. It clears the old to make way for something new, something evolved.

But Trump is no Shiva.
