The fascists of the past had it wrong and the fascists of today have it wrong too. The eagle was never meant to be a symbol of conquest.

In nature, the eagle strikes only for what it needs.
It does not hoard.
It does not punish.
It does not kill to dominate or to prove worth.

Those qualities were projected onto the eagle by humans who forgot what enough feels like.

Over time, darkness tried to wear the eagle’s image — empires, fascists, and ideologies of supremacy borrowing its outline while violating its nature. But that darkness never belonged to the eagle. It belonged to us.

At Political Cool Down, we don’t believe in denying dark energy. We believe in transmuting it.

The eagle teaches restraint.
Vision without hatred.
Power without cruelty.

And like the eagle, we are allowed to molt — to shed old, heavy meanings that no longer serve the world we’re flying into. Greed, vindictiveness, domination: these are worn feathers. They can fall away without a fight.

The eagle belongs to no nation, no race, no ideology.
It belongs to the sky.

Anyone can choose to live by its ethic.

That choice — to take only what we need, to release what is not ours, to see clearly without becoming cruel — is what we call becoming an eagle bearer.

The eagle is free.

And so are we, when we remember. Enjoy being an eagle of the truth with this new Political Cool Down meditation.
